Date: October 10, 1996
Netcom sends e-mail to Biased Journalism publisher Shelly Thomson; they've received a complaint about a post she made of the opinion in the Lerma case, which was subsequently placed under seal. Thomson doesn't believe the sealing order applies to her; furthermore, the opinion was unsealed shortly thereafter. Netcom has cancelled the post (Biased Journalism Vol 2 Issue 20). Later in the day, they reinstate the post and send an apology via e-mail.
