San Francisco Scientology Picket, June 5, 1999

It was a standard, calm picket, one of our regular first-Saturday-of-every-month pickets.

My secret admirers / harassment picketers were waiting at my door to see me off.

M. Shannon joined in for a while, but at the beginning and end, it was just Peaches and me.

A full report was posted to alt.religion.scientology.

Joanna with her hand-lettered "religious bigot" sign.

Today's newcomer, Bill, videotaping me - AND holding a sign!

Craig, attempting to hide behind his sign, and Bill, still taping.

Mr. Get-Your-Facts-Straight.

Mr. Lady-I-Work-Here and Cute Sea Org Lady, probably on their way to lunch.

Josh came out to take our picture.

M. Shannon joined the picket; he's sporting lots of interesting-looking electronic gear.

The ever-fashionable Peaches, picketing the org.

Me (Kristi Wachter) in my bright red picketing jammies, with my newish sign ("Scientology: STILL breaking the law"). The sandwich boards read "Scientology hurts people" and "Scientology attacks religious freedom" in honor of Safe, whose identity was subpoenaed by Scientology this week.

Mr. Lady-I-Work-Here and Cute Sea Org Lady, probably on their way back from lunch.
