Keith Henson is an engineer, memeticist, and critic of Scientology. Scientology's abuse of the courts is especially remarkable in Henson's case. Scientology spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to bankrupt Keith after he republished some Scientology materials that he believed constituted practicing medicine without a license. He was subsequently convicted of interfering with a religion following peaceful protests at Scientology's compound in the California desert, prompting an expression of grave concern from the Electronic Frontier Foundation over the wrongful conviction.
