Want To Find Out More?

Good for you! Knowledge can be powerful.

If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to check out the various Scientology-related sites on the web. I recommend starting with a couple of critical sites: Operation Clambake and the Lisa McPherson Memorial Page . There are a number of other excellent critical web sites, including those created by the non-existent members of the ARSCC(wdne) . To round out your view, you may also want to take a look at Scientology's own web site . I also suggest you visit the Freezone site , where you can find information about Scientologist s who are unhappy with church management and who are therefore being persecuted by Scientology.

I don't really recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science Of Mental Health , because it's (in my opinion) really badly written and demonstrably full of false information. However, it does give some interesting glimpses into Hubbard's mind. If you do read it, look for the repeated claims that auditing will cure you of all kinds of ailments and the disclaimer at the front of the book saying that Dianetics is not a statement of claims made by the author and the E-meter is not a tool for diagnosing or curing illness. Also keep an eye out for the part where Hubbard classifies homosexual behavior as perversion and states that a society that tolerates perversion is doomed, and for the part where he says that women shouldn't compete with men but rather should raise children.

You can probably find the book at your local library.

If you would like to contact me personally, click here . (Did you know that, on the cookie-cutter web pages , "contact me personally" means "send my name and address and email address to the Scientology organization"?)

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for visiting my web site. (Aren't you glad it wasn't JUST EXACTLY THE SAME as all those Scientology cookie-cutter web sites ?)
